Website Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Vision Verification website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the website.

1. About this website

This website is operated by Vision Verification (Pty) Ltd (“Vision Verification”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It provides general information about our business, B-BBEE verification, training and related services, and allows visitors to contact us or request information.

Website content is provided for general information only. Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote does not create a client relationship, appoint Vision Verification, guarantee a verification outcome or oblige either party to enter into an agreement. Any services we agree to provide will be governed by a separate written engagement or service agreement.

2. Acceptable use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, accounts or connected systems;
  • introduce malicious code, interfere with security features or disrupt the website;
  • use automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on the website;
  • misrepresent your identity or submit information that is unlawful, false or misleading;
  • copy, republish or commercially exploit website content without permission; or
  • use the website in a way that infringes another person’s rights or applicable law.

3. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website and its content, branding, text, graphics, design, software and other materials are owned by or licensed to Vision Verification and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print reasonable extracts for your own lawful, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted without our prior written permission.

Third-party names, logos and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on this website does not grant you any right to use them.

4. Accuracy and no professional advice

We take reasonable care when preparing website content, but laws, codes, guidance and business circumstances may change. Content may therefore become incomplete or out of date. You should obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances before acting on information published here.

Nothing on this website is legal, tax, financial or other professional advice, and no website content constitutes a B-BBEE verification decision, score, certificate or assurance of a particular outcome.

5. Third-party websites and services

This website may link to websites or services operated by third parties, including maps, social media and WhatsApp. These links are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, security, content or privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

6. Electronic communications

When you contact us electronically, you consent to receiving replies and related communications electronically. An automated response or website confirmation does not by itself mean that we have accepted an instruction, concluded an agreement or received all information required to provide a service.

You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorised to provide any personal information relating to another person.

7. Availability and security

We aim to keep the website available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, restrict or change the website for maintenance, security or operational reasons. You are responsible for using suitable security measures and for keeping your devices, software and communications secure.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors. Vision Verification will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any rights you may have under applicable law.

9. Privacy and confidentiality

Our handling of personal information submitted through the website is described in our Privacy Policy. Information supplied as part of an actual verification engagement may also be governed by the applicable engagement agreement and our Confidentiality Statement.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute relating to the website or these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of a competent South African court, subject to any rights or procedures that applicable law requires.

12. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. These terms apply only to use of the website and do not replace any written service agreement with Vision Verification.

13. Contact us

Questions about these terms may be sent to info@visionverification.co.za or directed to the contact details published on this website.
