Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) is a programme initiated by the South African government to improve economic equity amongst all race groups.

The Intention is to encourage transformation by including black individuals in the economy. It covers aspects such as equity ownership, management of the business, skills development, employment equity, procurement, enterprise development and corporate social responsibility.
